I'm a mathematician at the University of Regensburg, funded by the Heisenberg programme of the DFG. My research has been centered around the geometry and arithmetic of various moduli spaces associated to reductive groups, in particular Shimura varieties and moduli spaces of Higgs bundles, as well as related concepts appearing in theory of reductive groups such as Tannaka duality and the theory of Bruhat-Tits buildings.

I am currently on parental leave.
